Start with the growing situation
Container growing, seed starting and filling a garden bed are different jobs. Read the intended-use label before comparing bag prices. A product labeled for one purpose is not automatically the right choice for another.
Check what is included
Note ingredients, volume and whether fertilizer is already included. Follow product and crop guidance when deciding what else to add. Keep the label so you can refer to it during the season.
Compare the whole purchase
Estimate the volume you need from your containers or bed before shopping. Compare cost per volume alongside suitability, delivery and the effort of moving the bags. Our recommendation is to buy the amount for the project you have prepared, not for future projects you may never plant.
